CAPTAINS & CREW
"I have made a living from the fertile waters around Kauai for 15 years. My proven methods of catching fish are what I would like to share with you. Kauai is not like a lot of places in the world where you have to travel quite a long distance to get to deep water where it is good to fish. Here in Kauai you fish the entire time out there. The water drops off as soon as you leave the harbor. We have caught two marlin just out side the harbor mouth this year! We also have a very productive 40 fathom ledge five minutes from the harbor where we catch a lot off tuna, ono, mahi mahi, and rainbow runner. There are several FAD buoys in the 1000 fathom areas that attract fish and create a food chain effect. These buoys are good for catching all size fish." "The water is a very special part of my life. Come join us and we will give you an experience to remember!"
Captain Julie Hale "I have fished around the Hawaiian waters for 18 years. I started off fishing on Maui. We would fish out around Lanai, Molokini, Kahoolawe and out in the channel towards the Big Island of Hawaii crewing on charter boats. I also fished over on the Big Island quite a bit. I had a house and boat to use on Molokai for five years. There are some very productive areas to fish there. My next move was to Kauai where I met my husband. We had a commercial fishing boat. This is where I learned a variety off different kinds of fishing. I had some new experiences. This was quite a change from charter fishing that I was use to. Being on the water for days and fishing day and night. We caught alot of fish from a couple of lbs. to hundreds of lbs. using many different methods. There are plenty of times that stand out on the scale. I will remember them for the rest of my life. After a few years we got our charter boat. I think that the combination of working on charter boats for other people, commercial fishing, and now having our own charter boat makes our trip really unique. Our experience stands out. Come have some good times on Kauai waters with us!! It will be an experience that will be enjoyed for years to come."
