Aloha Captain Julie,
We would of been satisfied even if we didn't catch a fish. It was great talking with you and I really enjoyed being on the water on such a nice boat. When we landed that 455 lb marlin, it was a thrill of my life time! That was the coolest thing I ever did. You made my trip. We can't wait to go again. Be back soon!

Thanks again for taking Mr. David Devere and I out fishing. The specific target species was marlin, and it was great that we got one. Plus the fact that he fulfilled a lifelong dream aboard your boat should benefit to you down the line. I was impressed with your operation and will steer everyone I can to you.
Aloha and Great Fishing,
Mr. Kelso & party enjoyed and caught lots of different fishes. They were so happy with you and their trip on Hana Pa'a Charters. Said they would have probably enjoyed even if they didn't catch. Good people and fun trip on Hana Pa'a!
Our Favorite Story ....
One of our most memorable trips was the day Ryan, age 14, and Alex, age 12, and their father Wayne came out fishing with us. The main goal for Wayne was to have his boys catch a fish. Little did he know what was in store for them that day. Here is the real fishing tale.
We were trolling along through a bird pile. When in came a marlin passing through the pattern. He hit one lure knocking it down from the outrigger. Then as he came back around and through again he grabbed one lure, ripping out line, then a second lure, ripping out line. The marlin had two lures stuck (Hana Pa'a) and both boys reeling with their proud father standing by with the biggest smile on his face (see photo on our "Questions & Answers" page). Both boys did a great job reeling in the 340 lb. marlin.
I do believe we made their trip to Kauai a memorable one and we will be thrilled to have them back aboard one day!
